Karetschildpad Toymany
De karetschildpad, ook wel echte karetschildpad genoemd, is een schildpad uit de familie van de zeeschildpadden. De karetschildpad heeft een gemiddelde schildlengte van ongeveer 90 centimeter. Hiermee is de schildpad een middelgrote soort in vergelijking met andere zeeschildpadden.

The hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) is a critically endangered sea turtle belonging to the family Cheloniidae. It is the only extant species in the genus Eretmochelys. The species has a global distribution that is largely limited to tropical and subtropical marine and estuary ecosystems.
